The Season 0 Hall of Fame
Everyone who was here first is honoured — permanently, by name.
My Hoop Legacy is still before its official launch. Every player, GM and coach created and played during this stretch gets a permanent place in the Season 0 Hall of Fame: the character's name, their mode, one line of record, the team or program they belong to, the account that made them, and the stamp Season 0.
What goes on your line
Each entry carries one short line that says what that legacy actually did. It is built from the save itself, not typed in, so it can't be padded.
- Players show their position, their overall rating, the games they have played and any championships — for example PG · 84 OVR · 212 GP · 2× champion.
- GMs show how many seasons they have run the franchise, its combined win-loss record, and any titles, alongside the team's name.
- Coaches show their seasons in charge and the program's record, alongside the school they coach.
While Season 0 is open, your line keeps up with you. Play another season and the entry updates in place; it is the same legacy, not a second one.
How to get on the list
- Play, don't just create. A career that has never played a game has no story yet, so it isn't enshrined until it has one. GM and coach saves count once they have a name and a team.
- Sign in. A save that only lives on one device can't be enshrined, because the hall is kept on the server. Accounts are free, and the same sign-in syncs your saves across your phone and computer.
- Every mode counts separately. A player, a GM and a coach from the same account are three entries, because they are three legacies.
Find yourself
The hall is also inside the game, as a tab in Leaderboards. You can search it by your character's name or by your account handle — whichever you remember — and filter it to players, GMs or coaches. Names on the public list are shown with the same moderation as every other leaderboard.
It never reopens
Season 0 closes on launch day. Nobody created after that can be added, and nobody on the list is ever taken off. Your saves themselves carry on exactly as before — the hall is a record of where you started, not a change to your game.
Why it exists
The people who play a game before it is finished are the ones who shape it. A surprising amount of what is in My Hoop Legacy started as one message from one early player saying something felt wrong. The hall is the thank-you: the players, GMs and coaches you built stay part of the game's history, the same way retired legends in your saves end up in its record book.
