1. Introduction
Welcome to My Hoop Legacy ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the My Hoop Legacy game and related services (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: email (if you provide one for support or recovery), username, and a securely hashed password, when you create an optional cloud-save account.
- Game save data: your career progress, stats, team choices, and achievements — stored on your device and, if you opt in, synced to our servers.
- Purchase history: records of in-app purchases processed through the App Store, Google Play, or the web store. We receive a receipt, not your full card details.
- Device identifier: an anonymous ID used to tie local save data to you before you make an account.
- Usage data: aggregated, anonymized data about feature use and session length, used to improve the game.
3. How we use your information
- To provide and maintain the App and its cloud-save features.
- To process and verify in-app purchases.
- To improve gameplay, fix bugs, and build new features.
- To respond to support requests and send important notices.
- To enforce our Terms and protect against fraud or abuse.
4. Third-party services
We use a small number of third parties for purchases, advertising, and analytics: RevenueCat (validates in-app purchases), Google AdMob and Google AdSense (serve ads in the apps and on the web), and Google Analytics (aggregated, anonymized usage). We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed to run the App or as required by law.
5. Advertising
My Hoop Legacy is free and supported by advertising. We show full-screen ads at natural breaks in play and optional rewarded ads you choose to watch for an in-game reward — we don't use banner ads. Ads are delivered by Google, which may use cookies, your advertising identifier, IP address, approximate location, and ad-interaction data to serve and measure ads, including personalized ones.
Your choices: on iOS you're asked before any tracking used for personalized ads (changeable in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking); on Android you can reset your advertising ID in Settings › Google › Ads. In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland we present a consent choice before personalized ads — decline and you'll still see ads, just non-personalized. You can manage Google ad personalization at myadcenter.google.com. You can remove all ads by purchasing the Legend Pass.
6. Data storage and security
Your data is stored on servers in the United States. We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and hashed passwords. No method of transmission is ever 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
7. Children's privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us data, contact us and we'll delete it.
8. Your rights and data deletion
You can access the information we hold about you, request corrections, and request deletion of your account and data. Email harnoord14@gmail.com and we'll process your request within 30 days.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version and update the date above; continued use after changes means you accept them.
